Our client a Highly Successful business based in Farnham, Surrey are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant due to company growth. Due to location may be better if candidate is a driver

Description

As a Management Accountant based from the Farnham, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

*Supporting the Group Accountant in producing company and group management accounts ensuring a timely and disciplined month end reporting routine

*Maintain and report on redevelopment project costs to date

*Assist with the Group VAT return

*Bank reconciliations

*Inter-company group reconciliations

*Balance sheet and control account reconciliations

*Monthly accruals and prepayments

*Oversee preparation and issue of quarterly utility recharges

*Work closely with and support the accounting team, assisting with processing day to day activities across the group where necessary

*Assist in preparing for the group annual audit

*Assist in ensuring all legislative responsibilities are met

*Any other adhoc duties arising

Profile

• Experience covering the above responsibilities as closely as possible

*Ideally Experienced with Sage 50 and strong Excel skills

*Happy with candidates studying accountancy qualifications but also happy with candidates qualified by experience

*Ideally looking for candidates who have covered the above responsibilities but will consider someone looking to progress from an assistant role if they have solid, relevant experience

*Due to location candidate must drive

Job Offer

Salary £28,000 - £36,000 depending on experience, Study Support if required but you don't need to be studying, 20 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays, Nest Auto-enrolment pension, free parking. Great progression opportunities

Hours of work 9am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 5.00pm
