Head of Financial Control - High Wycombe - £70,000 + Car - IFRS - ACCA/ACA/CIMA

A Head of Financial Control Opportunity has become available within a high profile business based in the heart of High Wycombe. As part of a worldwide group the business is constantly driving to improve the way it operates and your role will be central to this. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have exposure to both senior management and group.

Your new role
As the Head of Financial Control, you will have responsibility for the Financial and operational controls of the business. With the support of you team of 10, you will process and efficient and timely month end wit full control of the wider balance sheet. Delivering this to an IFRS standard is crucial, as you will then deliver consolidated group accounts and reports. You will finally lead on the statutory accounts process.

The Head of Financial Control will also periodically be responsible for the tax compliance such as Corporation Tax and VAT and also will take a lead on both internal and external audits.

The other side to your role will be to support the FP&A and strategy. This will see you providing accurate and easy to use reports that will support the senior management with business decisions, allow them to develop and core business strategy moving forward.

What you'll need to succeed
To successfully secure this Head of Financial Control role, you will be a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant with 5 years PQE in a controller role. You will have in depth knowledge of Tax and CAT and be confident working to IFRS. If you have experience in IAS 18 or IFRS 16, this will ideal. Team management skills are essential.
