Well established and growing Carmarthenshire manufacturer has created a new permanent career role for a commercial accountant from a manufacturing background. A great opportunity for a broad and interesting commercial role.

Your new role

You will assist the Financial Controller in many areas including preparing budgets and forecasts, implementing and preparing various operational and commercial KPIs to discuss with the senior management team, preparing and updating standard costs and being heavily involved in the stock take and stock reconciliations. In addition you will be involved in varied project work including systems implementation, cost saving initiatives and a standard costing project.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have a few years of manufacturing experience, have had exposure to both stock and costings and have a real interest in getting involved in the wider commercial areas of a thriving manufacturing business. You may be either a QBE accountant or a Part or Fully Qualified accountant - your manufacturing experience and the desire to be commercially involved is key.
