Our client are based in the City of London close to Shoreditch, Angel and Old Street.

They are initially looking to hire someone on a 6 month basis with the view to become permanent following this 6 month period.

The role is to start next week meaning candidates must be immediately available and happy to commit to a temporary role.

Description

This role, Accounts Assistant from a Travel background, involves:

- Working closely with the key clients and ensuring all their travel finances are completed in a timely manner

- Ticketing experience in order to assist with ticket queries in relation to corporate travel

- Processing the purchase ledger and sales ledger

- Matching, batching and coding invoices

- Bank reconciliations

- Supplier statement reconciliations

- Cash allocation

- Billing clients

- Setting up payment plans

- Journal postings

- Accruals and prepayments

- Accountancy focused

- Temporary role

- Paid hourly initially

- Based in the City of London near Old Street

Profile

The candidate we are looking for, Accounts Assistant from a Travel background, must:

1. Have experience in the travel sector OR have ticketing experience (often from a Media or Events background)

2. Be immediately available or on a maximum of 3 days notice

3. Be happy to commit to a 6 month temporary role
