This newly founded Group Senior Analyst role based in Wythenshawe aims to assist the Head of Business Planning to manage key stakeholders, ensuring the completion of a Group 5 plan as well as producing high quality financial analysis and reporting to support business decision making.

Description
- Assisting with business planning to create a 5 year business plan across P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Lead and develop planning cycles, regarding management and timing of plan submissions and assess ways in which new or additional analysis that can add value to the process
- Own, run and improve the group business planning financial model, and be responsible for the consistency of outputs
- Influence business units to develop new methods of financial modelling and develop appropriate usage of Excel across the group
- Take a proactive approach with key stakeholders
- Assist the business with ad-hoc improvements to existing processes to minimise commercial disruptions
- A proactive attitude to the development of the Group Senior Analyst role
Profile
- A qualified accountant with at least 3-5 years PQE accountancy experience
- Strong modelling capabilities and advanced understanding of Excel
- A professional, commercial acumen; understanding key business drivers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Time management is an essential attribute
- Knowledge and experience of FP&A, specifically forecasting budgeting
- Experience of working with SAP or Oracle
