Financial Accountant - High Wycombe - £50,000 - Qualified ACCA/ACA - IFRS - Statutory reporting

Your new company
A Financial Accountant opportunity has become available for a Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant who is keen to join a nationally successful business. Working for this well know brand, you will be joining a business that has worked hard to change the culture of the business which promotes equality and recognition for all members of the business. You will report in to a fantastic Financial Controller.

Your new role
As a financial accountant, you will be responsible for the integrity of the financial reporting and cash flow statements. Working alongside the management accountant you will produce the month end numbers, having ownership of the balance sheet. You will report these numbers to the Financial controller for approval.

You will also overview the quarterly and annual responsibilities such as Tax, VAT and year end accounts. You will also be a lead and point of contact for the auditors.

Due to the nature of the business, you will also be heavily involved in the implementation of new legislation such as IFRS 16.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with either an ACA or ACCA qualification. You will be an ambitions person with the want and desire to progress and learn. You will work well in a fast paced and high pressure environment. You will also have an ability to communicate with your colleagues about non finance matters and work well with senior management.
