Interim Management Accountant - Temp to Perm - Cardiff
Your new organisation
Our client is a Cardiff based not for profit. They are looking for an interim Management Accountant to assist with the day to day running of their finance function.
Your new role
In your new role you will line manage the charities Finance Manager who is responsible for recording income, expenses and bank transactions. You will agree targets with the FM and review progress weekly. You will also project manage transfer of accounting from external accountants to the charity. Liaise with accountants, IT Support Co and Sage Support Co to arrange Sage move and agree action plan/timetable with Finance Director. Some travel to London will be necessary for meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified accountant with experience in operating an efficient and effective Management Information Service, with tight deadlines and meetings required as part of the process. Experience in leading in the production of detailed budgets, including meetings with cost centre managers at all stages of the process. Knowledge of SORP accounting and Sage 50 would be highly desirable.
