Permanent Payroll Officer - Cardiff Salary Dependent on Experience

Your new company are one of the fastest growing legal firms in Wales and a top 100 UK Law Firm. Currently embarking on a new strategy it is growing it's workforce and client base in Wales.
Your new role
You will be solely responsible for the accurate end to end processing of a monthly payroll for in excess of 700 employees including making RTI submissions and dealing with enquiries. You will also administer the pension and salary sacrifice schemes. You will have responsibility of ensuring the system is kept up to date, meets statutory requirements and its use is further developed. The payroll function sits within the HR team and the successful candidate will also carry out HR tasks such as interviews and maternity / paternity leave meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be an experienced Payroll Officer who has a minimum of two years experience processing end to end payroll with an understanding of the statutory requirements in relation to tax and pensions etc. Previous experience of working with iTrent is desirable but not essential. An understanding of HR is also required with excellent communication skills.
