If you join Ferrovial Agroman, your Graduate status means that you will receive structured training, development and the soft skills required to deliver in your role. We will also support you to attain your professional accounting qualifications. However, on a day-to-day basis, you will have the same responsibility as any other Ferrovial employee in the finance team. Key accountabilities

  • Produce a monthly K.P.I. report.
  • Produce monthly reconciliation between SAP and the Ferrovial Group monthly management reporting pack, liaising with senior management to investigate any variances.
  • Produce monthly cash flow deviation analysis for all the projects.
  • Payment approvals in line with company policies.
  • Assist senior management in producing revised budgets and forecasts for the projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements under both IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Assist with both external and internal audits.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and accounts.
  • Account clerk work such as accounting for invoices, and posting journals
  • Promote the company values in all dealings with employees, clients, subcontractors and other external suppliers.

Skills & experience

Key skills and experience:

  • Proficient in Excel (V Lookup, Sumif, Pivot tables).
  • Experience (including year in the industry while at university) in an accounting/finance related role. (Desirable)
  • Experience in using SAP (or other accounting systems), including posting double entries is desirable but not essential.
  • Good command of English language.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting or Finance related degree,
  • Have the ambition to study CIMA, we will provide financial support.
