Management Accountant role - Permanent basis - £up to 38k per annum - Based in Burnley - Excellent benefits

You will be working for an extremely successful organisation based in East Lancashire who pride themselves on working within local community. With a plethora of organisations within the group they have grown immensely in the previous 15 years and are a real pillar within the local community.


Your new role
You will be working within a large, successful Finance team that provide the finance function for an extremely diverse group. Working closely with the Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing a small team of 5 and will look after 5+ companies within the wider group.

Roles and responsibilities will include -

- Preparation of budgets, working closely with budget holders and business partnering
- Monthly management Accounts for 5 companies
- Production of quarterly financial reports
- Preparation of final accounts in line with year end
- Statutory accounts
- Providing efficiencies and controls on process
- Business partnering with Budget holders - report/analysis
- Managing projects - system upgrade
- Manage the fixed asset register
- Accurate monthly cash flow forecasts

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or will be nearing the end of your qualification. You will have previous experience of managing staff and will have the ability to work closely with both financial and non financial stakeholders. You will pride yourself on providing timely and accurate information and must be a team player.
