Tax Manager - Global FMCG Brand
A new Tax Manager opportunity to join an acquisitive, fast global FMCG household brand, based in their Head Office in Reading, as the Tax Manager, this role will work across the whole portfolio of entities and countries, taking ownership of a mixed Tax position with both direct and indirect tax.

Based in the head Office in Reading, there is a requirement for a new mixed Tax Manager to take ownership of a range of Tax Planning, Advisory and Compliance duties. It would be expected that the successful candidate take responsibility for reviewing and advising on tax implications of international goods and services movements; assessing new business opportunities; providing business partnering support; setting up tax and compliance arrangements for new territories, as well as taking ownership of the UK & Ireland tax filings and VAT process.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, this role will develop and change scope over time, allowing this person to evolve and take on more responsibility.
Candidates for the Tax Manager position will ideally possess either an Accountancy or Tax qualification (ACA, ACCA or CTA) and have demonstrable experience from either a professional services/accountancy firm, or an in-house position. An understanding of Tax Accounting, Corporation tax, in addition to an appreciation of the demands in a complex business structure. Candidates should be able to balance priorities in a high growth company, and be comfortable working in a fast paced organisation.
Depending on experience, the salary offered will range. In addition to this benefits will include Car allowance, Bonus, Private health care, Pension scheme, 25 days annual leave.
