The position is based on the outskirts of North Cambridge, so no central Cambridge traffic and easy access to A14 and M11. The company are very prestigious accountancy firm in Cambridge, ooking after businesses, corporate clients, third sector organisations, charities and private individuals. They are looking for a talented team member to work within their Cloud Accounting team. This opportunity is to assist in the transfer and implementation of new cloud accounting software with new and existing clients, prepare management accounts for clients (on and off site) and assist the main accounts department with accounts preparation. This position would be working with all types of businesses including new and existing clients to prepare their accounts and assist the main accounts department with accounts preparation. The role will involve working alongside the department director and offer the opportunity to shape the growing cloud accounting services offered by the firm, including Xero, QBO and Sage Accounting (Cloud) - our 'cloud software' solutions. Key Responsibilities include: Visiting clients and prospect clients in relation to cloud accounting benefits / demonstrations Preparation of system reviews and provide quotations for consultancy services Assisting clients with general accounting and software queries remotely and on-site Network and develop business contacts Preparation of VAT returns Training staff on cloud software Undertake formal and self-led training to keep up to date with current software changes and share your knowledge as appropriate Experience required to be successful in this role includes: 2 years of extensive Xero experience and QBO and /or Sage (Cloud) Has experience with Sage 50 desktop AAT/ACCA/ACA Drives with access to reliable transport Work well alone, within a team and with clients The salary for this role is between £27,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
