Tax Assistant £ 25,000 - £ 30,000 | Bristol A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join a successful and progressive firm as a Tax Assistant. As the Tax Assistant, you will be reporting to the Tax Manager and work closely with the other Tax Assistants within the department. The right candidate must be very numerical, have a strong written and verbal communication skills and most importantly, must be good in person. This role offers study support which will benefit someone who is looking to progress within this company.

Responsibilities:

• assisting with the group's Corporation Tax and VAT reporting
• tax accounting, including assisting with internal quarterly reporting and the year end audit process;
• assisting with the identification; mapping and implementation of improvements to the group's tax functions to help manage risks and increase efficiencies;
• providing assistance with advisory projects (acquisitions, restructuring, product development, impact of legislative changes etc.);
• providing operational and technical tax support to the wider group; Skills
• Studying for or qualified to ATT standard or equivalent
• Previous experience of UK business tax reporting and compliance
