A fun and sociable sports ecommerce business are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the business in a purchase ledger focused role. Working under their impressive Head of Finance and Operations, you will work closely with a range of high-profile suppliers to ensure they are paid on time and to ensure all relevant statements are reconciled correctly. They work in a fast-paced environment and you will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices on a weekly and monthly basis. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in the month end and yearly audit processes. They are looking for someone who is driven and keen to learn as you will be offered full study support as part of your package to allow you to progress and work your way up through the company. The Role Processing large volumes of invoices. Ensuring suppliers are paid correctly and on time. Assisting with the year-end audit. Checking invoices and payments. Resolving internal and external queries in a quick and efficient manner. Weekly reporting and Excel analysis. Ad hoc admin when required. What you need 6-12 months' experience in an accounting position. Strong excel skills (VLookups, Pivot Tables, Sumifs etc). Ambitious. Hands-on work ethic.
