We're looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our team in London. As part of our Finance function, your key responsibilities will include: Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for the portfolio Partner with the senior management of the brands to deliver weekly forecasting Continuously monitor, develop and interpret weekly performance KPI's and communicate to the portfolio management team any issues, risks, opportunities and trends Decision Support: Help to prepare and provide analysis of all board reports and budget presentations within the portfolio Monitor and advise on competitor activity and market trends. Model the financial and non-financial outcomes of alternative scenarios as required by the business and advise from a financial perspective. Support with business projects as required include providing fast informed and independent appraisals of financial information. Financial Management: Ensure delivery of timely and accurate monthly accounts for the portfolio with insightful commentary which is clear to understand. This should include timely completion of all month end procedures. Responsibility for management information contained on financial systems including controllable balance sheet items and report on these as required. Ensure seamless delivery of the audit process, both internal and external. This includes attending audit meetings, reporting on audit issues and resolving issues (control and otherwise) where appropriate. Manage, control and implement non-standard transactions either locally or with the SSC. Manage, develop and improve local business control environment. Ensure compliance with all statutory tax and financial policies and procedures. Other: Represent portfolio/finance team at business meetings as required. Travel to London offices as required. Your experience Part-qualified accountant Strong working knowledge of financial systems including Oracle, Hyperion Planning/ Essbase, Sales Force and Financial Force and the ability to extract/apply information for business advantage Intermediate PowerPoint skills with ability to conduct formal presentations.
