An Alfreton based business are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting into the Accounts payable Team Leader, your duties as Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:
• Checking the query log daily
• Chasing up any new / outstanding queries
• Matching and coding invoices
• Liaising with internal and external suppliers
• Assisting in the preparation of payments runs
• Sending out Statement Reconciliations to clients weekly
• Sending a weekly report to management regarding ongoing issues
• Ensuring the database is kept up to date
• Setting up new suppliers on the system The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Purchase Ledger position, previous experience of Excel ideally including VLookups and Pivots are desirable, but not essential. In return the company are offering a salary of up to £22,000, they offer flexible working between the hours of 8:30 - 18:00, Monday to Friday.
