Manpower is currently recruiting for a compliance analyst on behalf of our client, a large multinational financial services corporation. This is a temporary role for 3-6 months to cover a secondment. This position will support the Compliance Manager for Global Servicing Network (GSN) Europe in the continued development, growth and maintenance of an effective Compliance Program for GSN, consistent with applicable US, EU and FCA requirements, including American Express Company Compliance Programs and Policies. This position supports 15 European markets (UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and Russia) for Consumer/ICC, Commercial and Merchant lines of business across all major functional areas i.e. Customer Enablement Network (CEN), Customer Fulfillment Network (CFN), Disputes, Complaints, Corporate Servicing Network (CSN), Global Billing and Payment (GBP), Global Card issuance (GCI), Loyalty Coalition (Payback) and Archivio Unico Informatico (AUI) Main

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards and policies relevant to Europe in the area of anti-money laundering, data protection and privacy, consumer protection and sanctions applicable to Global Servicing Network (GSN) Assist the GSN Compliance Manager and Director with execution of all phases of the annual Compliance Risk Assessments (CRAs) Provide support and compliance approval & oversight of all phases of the corrective action process which includes root cause analysis, determining compliance risk, remediation support and defining on-going controls to mitigate reoccurrence of compliance issues Support implementation and maintenance of the Regulatory Business Self Testing (RBST) program for GSN by demonstrating comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirements for the various European markets and how these translate into business processes. Review and approve quarterly first line of defense test results and follow-up on associated action plans Review and approval of GSN procedures, via the ECCO governance process, and compliance guidelines governing GSN activities. Assist in the communication and implementation of policies to achieve compliance, as requested Act as point of contact for GSN ensuring queries and general questions are collated and addressed in a timely manner Support the Compliance Manager and Director with GSN projects and initiatives requiring Compliance involvement and the execution of key Compliance projects Assist in all administrative aspects of the program including maintaining central records on compliance training activities, meeting minutes, updating program documentation, etc. Skills & Experience Strong Relationship, communication and influencing skills Proven experience in operating in a complex matrix environment Ability to manage multiple initiatives, to prioritize and reprioritize activities Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential compliance issues, perform root cause and recommend solutions Attention to detail and ability to assist in the interpretation of regulatory/compliance requirements and assess impact to business systems, processes and initiatives Ability to translate strategies into a detail work plan, to manage deliverables and drive to completion Working knowledge of GSN and American Express businesses required Understanding of the requirements of the Payment Services Directive (PSD) and General Data Protection Rules (GDPR) an advantage University Graduate and relevant professional qualification preferred - Law Degree, Compliance Diploma Control/Auditing background an advantage.
