DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION HOLDER: To be part of the Accounts team and partake in the Team's activities in the processing of the Company Accounts and ongoing improvements of systems and procedures. Payroll (Sage preferred) - responsible for the running and maintenance of payroll for its employees. All duties and personnel matters involved in its completion including production of statistics, maintenance of Time and Attendance Recording system To operate and maintain payroll including arranging payment of salaries, PAYE, NI, pensions and other deductions and filing all annual returns. To operate and maintain payroll records for external organisations including arranging payment of salaries, PAYE, NI pensions and other deductions and filing all annual returns. Credit Control - Responsible for the reconciliation of Customer accounts, allocation of cash payments, resolving overdue invoices and liaising with the Quality/Sales/Logistics Departments on outstanding issues. Cash Book/Petty Cash - Responsible for the maintenance of the Cash Book including bank reconciliation. Control Accounts - responsible for the reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Provide a confident and professional image of the Company at all times for all customers, visitors and employees. Provide backup to the Department Manager and his/her Team.
