Leading local firm known for a work hard / play hard culture based int eh City Centre is seeking a new Accounts Administration Assistant to join the team in January. Having worked with this team before we know that progression, career development and fun are all realistic parts of being in the finance team. Your role within the business will primarily be to process purchase invoices on the accounts system (SAGE experience will be an advantage); you will also assist on month end duties including the preparation and posting to accruals and bank reconciliations. You will be responsible for uploading direct debit requisitions on a weekly basis; checking supplier statements and request missing invoices. You will prepare weekly and monthly payment runs, checking invoices against Aged Creditors for authorisation by the Finance Controller The ideal Candidate You will have an engaging and "can-do" approach; you will ideally have experience using SAGE and have working knowledge of purchase ledger and credit control.
