Accounts Payable Manager Coventry £30,000 - £36,000pa Pension Bonus Wallis Lynch is working with our Coventry based client in their quest to appoint a Accounts Payable Manager to join their UK Finance function. Our client is currently going through an exciting period of change and are keen to appoint an experienced AP professional who can play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Director in delivering a 1st class Accounts Payable function and driving significant improvements to processes and controls. Scope of the role : Reporting to the Finance Director you will lead a team of 3 AP Administrators through adopting a positive performance management approach, encouraging and guiding them to drive the output and quality of the teams activity. The Finance Director is looking for someone who is passionate about adopting full responsibility for the days to days as well as taking a proactive approach to ensuring the team evolve and continue to improve performance. Specific tasks will include:- Control of the complete procure to payment business cycle Lead by example on all aspects of the day to day AP activities Deal with all supplier queries in an efficient and courteous manner to reach successful resolutions Track, monitor and drive initiatives to improve all AP metrics Supplier statement reconciliation's Monitor supplier advances and track proforma payments through to receipt of final invoice Process manual debit/credit requests Support the cash flow analysis and forecasting process Take a proactive approach to driving internal controls and implementing process improvements Oversee the compliance of external audits Your attributes: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable leader but will require more than just ability to succeed.
