Assistant Accountant 36.25 hours Permanent full time Coventry £25,094 - £27,882 The role Orbit has a fantastic opening for an Assistant Accountant to join the Business Partnering Team in Coventry. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to enhance and develop a career in Housing and Finance. The Business Partnering Team is a vital, value adding part of Orbit Finance. With business acumen and communication skills, financial reports are brought to life for operational Business Partners. This allows the business to realise its potential and make the best business decisions that it can. As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for a number of key duties around managing data processing, implementing process improvements, reconciling accounts, assisting with compiling financial reports, preparing and posting journals, maintaining the integrity of data and providing information to support the business decisions. Maintaining relationships with customers is also a vital part of the role, ensuring you provide on- going support and assistance by meeting their requirements. About you This role is suited to someone with AAT or equivalent qualifications who can demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills. A good understanding of accounting is desirable as is a part qualified accountant. It is essential that you have good literacy and numeracy skills and have proven experience of Microsoft Excel. Having the ability to work well in a team and problem solve is important. We are looking for a proactive individual who can prioritise tasks, manage work load and meet deadlines. Why apply?
