IPS Finance are currently working with professional services business based in the centre of Leeds who are looking for a finance analyst to join their team. The finance analyst will be responsible for liaising with clients, assessing their financial position to prepare reports and recommendations in line with the business' strategy. Briefly, some duties will include: Quantitative and qualitative analysis, reviewing MI and gaining a full understanding of a clients' business Ensure all information financial/non-financial is received in a timely manner through effective communication with colleagues and clients Assist the manager in the presentation of findings, ensuring all reports are accurate Develop and maintain good accounting practices in the "not for profit" sector, through research and sector events It is essential you are a part qualified or qualified accountant with excellent analytical skills and experience in preparing management/accounting reports. You will be able to working under little supervision, willing to accept new challenges and understand how the business plan is related to your role.
