Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work alongside their existing Accounts Team . Ideally the candidate will start as soon as possible and on a full-time basis. Experience required:
• Confident and accurate computer and data-entry skills - minimum of intermediate level Excel
• Minimum of 2 years accounts experience
• Experience of Exchequer accounts would be advantageous, but training will be given
• Basic payroll experience would be advantageous, but again training will be given
• Excellent telephone and email correspondence manner
• Calm, organised, helpful and flexible, multi-tasking - a willingness to learn and help others - TEAM PLAYER
• Be able to work to deadlines and work under pressure - highly organised administration You will be liaising with suppliers, customers and other external contacts through a variety of accounts activities including inputting invoices, statement reconciliation's, and at all times ensuring the highest standards of professionalism are maintained. To liaise with a variety of internal contacts including Sales Managers, Production, Studio, Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse and Transport. RESPONSIBILITIES Timely and accurate input and filing of purchasing invoices Assisting with the reconciliation of supplier statements and informing suppliers of queries or copy requests Updating/administration of the Transport Analysis spreadsheet Input of staff expenses and business mileage for reimbursement Updating the Payment Chasers spread sheet (for weekly BACS run) Petty cash administration Complete credit applications for new suppliers Ad-hoc duties as required from time-to-time by the Accounts Payable Supervisor or Finance Director Provide support/cover for Credit Control during absences or busy periods Provide support/cover for Payroll Assist with HR administration
