An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts professional within our Dunfermline office. Avenue Scotland is an established recruitment agency which has been providing clients with permanent and temporary staff for over 30 years. We are looking to restructure our finance team and will be looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to work alongside the Financial Controller to deliver an efficient reporting function which supports the management of the company. The role will involve: Ledger Maintenance (Sales and Purchase) Invoice Processing (Importing and Manual Input) Bank Transaction Maintenance Invoice Discounting upload and reporting Monthly Reconciliations Calculation of month end Accruals & Prepayments Weekly Revenue Reporting Credit Control Weekly Payroll Support (Holiday Cover) The successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a busy finance team, have a track record in a similar role, possess excellent computer literacy (Sage 50 and Excel in particular), show initiative and communicate effectively at all levels.
