Randstad CPE are working with a leading FM provider to recruit a CDM Compliance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Glasgow. This is an office based role however travel throughout Scotland will be required. The CDM Compliance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the operational management of construction risks across all stages of a project's life; from initial enquiry, scoping and design stages through to management of construction fit-out works, snagging and handovers phases. The main duty of the CDM Compliance Manager is to be pro-active and self-sufficient ensuring that the client follows the CDM regulations depending on their specific CDM role on any project. This includes any works with the development and delivery for projects in the property sector, covering fabric and M & E construction works of a value anywhere from £ 25K up to over £ 1M, ensuring that the works are in compliance with the CDM regulations and that works are carried out safely. The candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds; from commercial fit-out or consulting back-ground, through to design or work space change. Qualifications: Construction H & S Construction Management, Project Management or Building Surveying To have a good understanding of CDM compliance / H & S through an associated engineering, design or construction.
