Role We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to work within our finance team. You will assist the Management Accountant in the completion of the month end Management Accounts. You will also assist in the preparation of key performance indicator reports including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and the identifying of solutions to business problems. Key Tasks: Assist in the production of weekly, monthly and annual reports Assist in the production of monthly management accounts, including supporting commentaries Assist in the production of the month end Clinical Unit reports for each department Provide information for the Quality Quartet (Balanced Scorecard) Support Clinical Units in the understanding of financial results and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements. Assist in the production of business cases for new services and capital expenditure Active participation in budgeting and forecasting processes Assist the finance manager in preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of one-off reports/schedules as required by the business 37.5 hours Full-Time Fixed Term Contract to July 2019 with possibility of progressing to permanent contract. Person Specification: 2 years' experience working in finance / /bookkeeping role AAT level 3 or equivalent or qualified by experience Intermediate excel skills Ability to work to deadlines Strong attention to detail Benefits
