A leading consumer goods business based in Central London are recrutiting a Part-Qualified Commerical Finance Analayst to support the business' growing Finance team. This role is to support the Finance Manager in providing effective financial challenge and support to the business partner(s). This will be achieved via accurate, timely management and financial reporting information that will support the senior members of the team to advise their business partners on risks and opportunities within their function and enable informed decision making which will help drive improved performance and profitability. Responsibilities:
To produce timely information for sales, margin and costs as appropriate To identify risks and opportunities relating to sales, margin, costs and stock as appropriate To contribute the month end routines of the management accounts including journal entry and balance sheet reconciliations Provide detailed and clear analysis on trading performance including some recommendations to aid improvement. To undertake analysis for potential initiatives using financial modelling techniques Provide quality insight to performance via clear and concise commentary To become familiar with and report on KPIs highlighting risks and opportunities To support the budgeting and forecasting process.
