Our client is looking for a Finance Operations Assistant to work within their Finance department. This is on a temporary basis for initially 8 weeks but may be extended. The role is due to start on 28th January. The duties of this role include, but are not limited to: Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. Maintains log of accounts payable invoices and queries. Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures. Ensures that invoices are approved in line with the authorisation limits as well as ensure that invoices are processed accurately and on a timely basis. Ensure that invoices and relevant documentation are filed and attached to the relevant transactions. Administration of HMRC CIS paperwork. Provides support to the management accounts team with month end accruals and reporting. Processes the maintenance term service contract ensuring reconciliation between the maintenance and financial systems. The skills and experience required for this role includes, but are not limited to: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites as well as the ability to pick up new internal software systems. Previous financial experience including accounts payable is essential for this role. Ability to work to tight deadlines. The ability to work as part of a team and to own accord.
