We're supporting a FTSE100 business with the recruitment of a Part Qualified Management/Financial Accountant. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to Finance management of a central EMEA entity that provides marketing and other central services to members of the company's EMEA group Ensure accurate accounting through the use of Finance department processes & procedures Production of reporting & analysis of departmental performance Business Partnering with department heads across the business Preparation of budgeting & forecasting for the business Ad hoc project support for the EMEA Finance Director, as required Book keeping of low volume transactions Monthly bank, debtors, creditors and other balance sheet reconciliations Payment and treasury function of low volume transactions Advise other departments on raising invoices and issue quarterly EMEA members' dues invoices Month end process for group reporting Ensuring that any allocated/ad hoc work is dealt with promptly and accurately Ensure correct allocation of costs between departments. Ensuring that all procedures are properly complied with and that liaison with external organisations including auditors and tax consultants is dealt with promptly Processing and checking amendments to data accurately and carefully, and ensuring that reconciliations and calculations are completed within agreed timetables Collation of group members revenues for the calculation and allocation of dues to each member in EMEA region Accurate and timely production of financial reports and associated information Production of Statutory Financial Statements using CCH software under FRS 102 Production of monthly departmental reporting packs including variance analysis commentary Production of quarterly VAT return Production of annual CT return for trade association Dealing with any ad-hoc queries that arise National Statistics, HMRC data collation, Companies House submissions Continuous review of processes, systems & reporting to identify improvements Any other task that may reasonably be required Ideal candidates will be part qualified ACA/ACCA /CIMA. Be motivated to progress in their career, Be able to work well as part of a team as well as independentl. Strong interpersonal skills, able to create and eager to develop effective relationships with stakeholders and fellow team members within the EMEA finance function.
