Internal Audit Manager
This Internal Audit Manager role is for one of the largest and most respected brands in High Street gaming, Bingo Clubs and Family Entertainment Centres. The brand is synonymous with excitement and best value entertainment. The purpose of this role is to lead Internal Audit and Profit Protection teams, to provide an efficient and effective service to all areas of the business. Focusing on managing in-house databases, interpreting data mining and formulating tactics/strategies to identify risks/opportunities and target potential risks in conjunction with Operational Teams. Reporting in to the Head of Compliance, you will directly manage a team of 12 which are office and field based. Whilst you will be based at the Head Office in Milton Keynes some travel will be required to visit venues and manage/support team. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
• Managing our cash control and audit processes;
• Management of shrinkage and risk reduction strategies;
• Manage an improvement process with Security Investigations and Audit/Risk Assessments;
• Increase Loss Prevention awareness throughout the business;
• Developing the team of Auditors;
• Adherence of Company Procedures and Guidelines, aligning to parent company guidelines;
• The subject matter expert for audit and profit protection, including but not limited to technology, infrastructure and training needs. Key Skills & Experience required:
• Strong leadership skills, with experience of managing multiple stakeholders remotely
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Extensive experience within a multi-site retail operation
• Proven experience in the leading of Regional Profit Protection programs
• The ability to build, support and develop teams and manage change
• Advanced ability to work with reporting writing and data-mining tools
• Ability to analyse and use evidence effectively for informed decision-making
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week).
