Responsible for the circa £90 mill TO German business this is a challenging, managing 2 staff and with some travel to Germany. Role The German speaking Financial Controller will be responsible for: Preparation and analysis of monthly accounts to Trial Balance. Balance sheet reconciliations Maintenance of fixed asset registers. Preparation of Monthly VAT & Intrastat Returns Provision of supplementary schedules for quarterly reporting. Ensuring German entity finance complies with Sarbanes Oxley. Ad hoc Operational & Finance requests from Director Controller - EMEA Managing 2 staff Managing the Audit and statutory reporting - German (GAAP) Profile We are looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) accountant who speaks fluent German and has worked on the accounting for German business or entity. Part-qualified accountants will also be considered if fluent in German. German Accounting experience to Trial Balance German language skills Hands on ERP experience. Strong Excel skills Company Our client are a successful international business. Salary & Benefits Circa £60,000 to £68,000 dependant on experience plus package.
