Allen Lane is recruiting and interim Head of Finance for a small membership organisation based in central London. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will provide vital interim cover to the financial leadership post whilst a thorough permanent recruitment campaign is concluded. Key duties include; Manage the day to day activities of the finance department and be responsible for its reporting systems and accounting controls. Review internal controls and update financial policies and procedures manual accordingly Manage month-end procedures and ensure all monthly management accounts and reports are accurately prepared on time including commentary and variance analysis Lead the year-end statutory accounts preparation and audit, including liaison with auditors Oversee the timely production of audited annual accounts in SORP format. Key person specification; Fully qualified Accountant Demonstrable experience delivering a set of SORP accounts Demonstrable experience leading the finance function of a £10m> organisation.
