Project Accountant | Engineering | Crewe | £35,000 - £40,000 Macildowie Finance is currently working on a position offering the opportunity to work for a n exciting Engineering business , based in Cheshire . This business is a stand alone subsidiary of a large European business with c£50m turnover. Recruiting for a Project Accountant , this role within the team will report to the site Financial Controller and offer support and advice to the wider business team. The role will also partner with operational teams at varying levels of seniority and work hard to drive efficiencies and improve process across the business. So what is the job? Month end reporting - timely and accurate delivery of period end transactional process Variance Analysis Reporting - assist with the reporting of the actual versus budgeted/forecasted financial situation and ensure transparency Compilation of finance and operational KPI's Analysis of variances between Budget, Forecast and Actual figures (Sales, Margin, Cash flow and Expense Summary) Budget & Forecasting - support in the calculation of Budget and Forecast figures Financial Governance - consolidation and reporting of finance governance information (Balance Sheet reconciliations, Audit packs, FX Planner) Assist the business in data for effective Cash-Flow Management Debt Management (reporting of debt, escalating non payment issues and checking of inter-company matching and associated cash allocation) What do I need?
