South Cambridge- Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to support a recent internal promotion and restructure. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be joining a business who have seen consistent growth over the years across a number of countries and now require a hands on Financial Controller to join the finance team. The role will take on a 'roll your sleeves up' approach to tasks as the finance operation is an extremely collaborative environment. You will be responsible for financial accounting tasks from balance sheet work to producing group annual statements ready for external audit. You will be expected to process transactions through to providing high level technical work as required ready for the FD and CFO to review. As a senior member of the team you will manage 4 members of staff and review work accordingly. This role would suit a strong financial accountant with experience in a controls and reporting environment. The successful applicant will ideally be ACA qualified who is looking to maintain a hands-on position but gain further insight into more senior tasks. You will have prior experience in managing and mentoring junior staff, delegating work accordingly. As the role grows and the business continues to expand there will be projects developing allowing opportunities to second away from the 'mainstream' tasks.
