The temporary division of Macildowie are working in partnership with a successful and innovative brand based in Bedford. The organisation are seeking a Temporary Fixed Asset Assistant Accountant to join their business. The Fixed Asset Assistant Accountant will receive an hourly rate of up to £16.00. Duties - Preparation of management reports - Assisting with the accounting of asset disposals and completion of journal entires - Reconciliation of fixed asset register - Assisting with the completion of motnhly prepayment and accruals - Completing rebate accounting duties ensuring SLA's and agreements within contracts are adhered to. - Working alongside the Sales Director to discuss the financial impact of rebates within a number of contracts - Completion of monthly journals, reconciliations and ad hoc invoicing duties - Assisting with the communication of financial information to commercial stakeholder on a monthly basis - Assisting with the monthly budgeting and forecasting process - Completing transactional accounts on an ad hoc basis when required Requirements - All candidates must have an understanding and experience of working with Fixed Assets - Applicants must be part qualified within a financial qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - Candidates will have experience of working with the monthly financial statements - Rebates experience is highly desired but not essential - Candidates must have a strong level of Excel being able to complete V Lookups and Pivot Tables - All applicants must have a strong level of communication both through written and verbal methods Salary and Benefits The Assistant Accountant will receive an hourly rate of up to £16.00 per hour.
