Exclusive opportunity to Hays for a qualified accountant to join a successful business based near Peterborough

Your new company
A long established agricultural machinery business on the outskirts of Peterborough are looking for a fully qualified company accountant to join their close knit group as part of the senior management team while heading up the accounts department and managing an assistant.

Your new role
Being the number one in finance, you will produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, preparation of the company's statutory accounts as well as management of cashflow and payroll. Another key aspect of the job will be to look at long-term plans and strategy, to identify risks and opportunities to help the business to grow.


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience of working within an SME environment, including experience of all aspects of the day to day company finance. You will preferably have SAP business 1 experience as well as a strong practical knowledge of MS office.
