Job Description : Reports To : The Managing Director Origin Consultants Pvt Ltd has been retained by One of Indias Largest and Respected Conglomerates in the Power Sector to identify a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to be based at Kolkata Job Description As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) your responsibilities include the following Monitor the financial performance of units and develop profit improvement plan Advise on business and corporate restructuring to accelerate growth and create shareholder value Establish benchmarked business processes for achieving value and cost advantage Oversee divestment of non-core assets Implement different infrastructure projects as catalyst of growth Assist in project evaluation, provide finance and taxation assistance for evaluating investment opportunities Direct treasury and fund management to minimize financial costs Direct tax services, including analysis, planning & compliance, to achieve satisfactory tax efficiency Develop strategies for successful implementation of new projects Desired Candidate Profile CA with 18 to 25 years of post-qualification experience. You will be leading the finance function of a manufacturing/power/natural resources business of at least 1000 Cr. Demonstrated excellence in reorganizing a sizable finance function from a profit-maximization perspective. Led and supervised at least 5 executives and possess proven team-building skills.
