Our client is a leading business in the north east, with a market leading position and a track record of profitable growth. The business is seeking a high quality Interim Finance Director for 12 months duration. The successful candidate will have responsibility for all finance related issues, including supervision of a local team, and will also play a key role in the senior management team, helping run the business day to day. All in all this is a well rounded role with a broad set of responsibilities, where the will be ample opportunity to engage with the broader business. Potential candidates would be required to start promptly, and will be qualified accountants. You will have worked at a senioor level in an organidsation with decision making responsibilty, and will be capable of communicating across the organisation with the aim of enhancing financial performance. Sector experience is less important than innate quality, and you will be supported by an able team where the basics of reporting. budgeting and forecasting are concerned. Basic salary will be c£85,000pa plus benefits.
