W e are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join our Finance Team in Castle Donington. As the ideal candidate you will be a team player great at building relationships. An 'efficiency driver' always thinking of the 'best way' approach and able to prioritise and juggle the requirements of the business. Experience of working in an accounting or finance team is preference and an AAT or similar qualification is ideal but not essential. This is an office-based role ideal for someone who has excellent excel skills and has flexibility to work slightly longer hours when we have our month end 'pinch points' (flexibility in lieu of course) and who is happy processing high volume transactions with a keen attention to detail. There will also be plenty of opportunity to influence the way we do things and add to the 'story' behind the numbers. Other key accountabilities include:
• Daily banking and cheque processing
• Processing of customer payments
• Processing of Direct debits
• Timesheet posting and time/production analysis
• Offer finance support to wider firm (monitoring of query inboxes)
• Supporting the invoicing processing throughout the business
• Bad debt calculation
• Calculation of key metrics (WIP / Debtor days)
• Reconciliation of revenues, fees and provisions.
• Preparation of trend graphs and information for partner portfolio monitoring This role unfortunately does not offer study support, but we do offer competitive salaries, unlimited paid holidays and flexible working.
