Trainee Management Accountant Job, Leeds City Centre, £23k plus benefits

Your new company
You will be working for a market leading advertising company, with offices based in Leeds City Centre. Due to continued success, this organisation are now recruiting for an ambitious and driven individual to join the Finance team as a Trainee Management Accountant.

Your new role
You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for a variety of duties including:

• Reviewing and preparing the profit and loss at month end
• Managing/reviewing sales and purchase ledgers
• Variance analysis and commentary
• Production of balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation and review of monthly journals
• Cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations
• Supporting the Finance Manager where required and to act as deputy
• Support the external audit process and production of statutory accounts
• Assisting on budget and quarterly forecasting processes
• Overseeing credit control management
• Ensure that all intercompany recharges and expenses are completed on time and in line with deadlines

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in your application to this role, you must either be educated to degree level in finance/mathematics/economics or an individual who has worked in a similar role for at least 2 years and looking for the next level in your career. You will have an interest in achieving ACCA/CIMA, or be working towards this qualification. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and engaging.
