But don't just take our word for it, Matthew Dix is one of our first colleagues combining full-time work and university as part of our degree apprenticeship. The Sunday Times had the pleasure of meeting Matthew to learn about his experience joining Mercedes-Benz and his career aspirations. "Beforehand, I was going down the usual University route," he says. "Coming out of Uni the debt is always there in the background." Our Head STARt Apprentice Programme offers the best of both worlds, combining full time work and University study without the expense. On Wednesdays, Matthew is on campus or studying at home, and by putting in some work through holidays and evenings the course is manageable. "A lot of people ask me about working full-time while studying, but the negatives are massively outweighed by the positives," Matthew adds. You can read the full article on The Times website.
