This is a finance role with a difference. Our client, a diverse and fascinating business is looking for a strong and dynamic finance professional to work closely with the group's senior management team in this newly created 'value added' driven role. Working within the group function, this is a critical role for the business, with one of the key objectives being to establish clarity of performance within each individual business. You will play a pivotal role in supporting each business's management team so that they can make informed business decisions based on the clear and insightful data and information you provide. The role Provide meaningful and accurate management information which will improve key decision making within the business Identify and implement new efficient processes and solutions to enable day to day operations Look to improve the efficiency of the IT systems and financial controls, to save reporting time and minimise manual input Work closely with the finance leads of each business to prepare robust business plans, which will be presented to the board Responsible for setting up and maintaining processes and infrastructure to deliver management information effectively Create new reporting models which combine and summarise data from multiple sources using excel and other reporting tools. The person CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience Extremely strong communicator, demonstrating experience of working across various businesses. Strong financial systems skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include Excel for modelling purposes Strong financial data analysis skills Budget control experience Full job specification available on request.
