Management Accountant

Exclusive role for an Accountant based in Crewe

Your new company are are a worldwide manufacturer and renown in their field and are looking for an Accountant to join their small team.

Your new role
Your new role will include but not be limited to;

• Controlling, maintaining & reconciling both purchase and sales ledger
• Maintaining company bank accounts
• Setting up/improving new accounting procedures
• Responsibility for the smooth running of Sage Accounts and Manufacturing
• Creating/editing reports for Sage for management accounts
• Creating/editing templates from Sage for Management Accounts
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Responsible for creating VAT return; EC Sales List & Intrastat
• Foreign Currency transactions
• Processing Financial Journals, prepayments, accruals & revaluations
• Producing Monthly Management Pack for the Directors
• Producing year end accounts and dealing with all aspects of the process

What you'll need to succeed

• 3 years experience in a similar role
• AAT or above
• Good Communicator
• Self-motivated and want to progress further
• Ability to be both a good team player and have the initiative to work independently
• Excellent knowledge of Sage is required
• Highly accurate & great attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems and propose solutions
• Strong Excel skills
• Passionate and driven to achieve business development, thrives in a fast-paced working environment
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities successfully
• Prior preparation of management accounts - accruals, prepayments, review of overheads
• Driving Licence and ability to travel if required

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience, on site parking, 10% employer pension contributions and medical care scheme, 37.5 hours Monday - Friday (flexible), 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays).
