6 month FTC Accountant role on a salary between 40K - 50K Tidworth, Wiltshire

You will be working for a well-known International brand based in Tidworth, Wiltshire. This 6 month FTC role on a salary between 40K - 50K . It will be reporting to the local Finance Director and working closely with the Executive team.

Your new role
The key purpose of the role is to provide support to the Financial Controller ensuring the accuracy of financial information for the Holdings group * The post holder will be responsible for the production of financial information particularly monthly management accounts and other annual statutory accounts, tax computations and returns. * Also supervision of the ledgers ensuring correct and timely posting of financial transactions and working capital management. * The post holder will also take responsibility for the accurate and timely posting of financial entries related to Change and Capex and the maintenance of spreadsheets recording actual and forecast expenditure. This to support input into various modelling processes *


To supervise the Accounts Administrator in carrying out his/her duties * Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts * Supervise and manage the Accounts Administrator in carrying out his/her duties * Preparation of statutory accounts for the business and its subsidiaries * Preparation of corporation tax returns and reports for the business and its subsidiaries * Overview of ledgers to ensure integrity, accuracy and timely inputs * Ensure trading terms are adhered to for both debtor and creditor ledgers. Regularly review debtors ledger, action and maintain intelligence on overdue amounts * Monitor the accurate and timely recharge of costs to other Aspire entities * Assistance with preparation of consolidated budgets and forecasts * Preparation of monthly VAT returns for the Group * Maintain databases for Change and Capex expenditure and forecasts * Ensure correct posting of capex and change costs and appropriate recharging to Mod. Support Accounts Administrator in carrying out this activity and interaction with Mod finance staff and Change Manager


What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you should have experience in financial reporting within a SME Business. Exposure to multi-site, multi country accounting would be advantageous as well as strong systems skills (ERP - Oracle/SAP/equivalent).
