Our client, a well known & growing business based in Guildford are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their Accountancy team

Description

Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Accountancy team in Guildford

• Managing the Support & Hosting Renewals process

• Assist the Financial Accountant with the preparation of Cash Flow Forecasting

• Assist the Financial Accountant and Finance Director with the preparation of annual budgets

• Take ownership of monthly Barclaycard Reporting and reconciliations

• Review and chase outstanding debtors, liaising with Account managers and project managers where necessary

• Daily posting of bank payments and receipts to NAV

• Assist the Financial Accountant with preparation of monthly Management Accounts

• Set up of Purchase Orders where required

• Input of all Purchase invoices into NAV

• Take ownership of the purchase invoice log

• Processing monthly staff expense claims ensuring in line with company policy

• Oversee purchase of licences for customer projects where necessary

• Manage Accounts mailbox

• Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT and EC Sales Submissions

• Assist with the year end Audit

Profile

A successful candidate will have experience with the above & be available on short notice

Salary £23,000 - £25,000
