Accounts Assistant Liverpool £15k - £16,000 We are actively looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for our client a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in the North West. Suitable candidates must have Accountancy Practice experience. The main responsibilities include: Booking in jobs (setting up accounts files, logging records received and identifying missing information) Requesting and chasing information from clients in respect of accounts, VAT and bookkeeping work (using email and telephone) Assisting with accounts preparation for non-audit clients (Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships and LLP's) Production of accounts on SAPA from both manual and computerised records Preparing accounts working papers and producing a file for manager review Completing VAT returns Undertaking bookkeeping work within the practice Assisting with tax computations (corporate) Liaison with HMRC Assisting a team of Semi Senior Accountants and Senior Accountants Our client offers full study support with a day release and progression to further studies upon completion of AAT (ACCA/ACA route) they offer a company pension scheme, plus private health scheme after 2 years of employment. There will be 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus birthday (if on weekday), plus 3 days between Christmas and New Year (Additional holidays accrued after long service) Due to high response only suitable candidates will be contacted.
