Here at Saffron Building Society, a unique opportunity has arisen for a Senior Credit Risk Manager to join our customer focused society reporting directly into our CRO designate. This role will be known internally as Head of Credit Risk. We are looking for an analytical and ambitious individual with a solid understanding of ICAAP, Treasury, Liquidly, Retail Credit and SME lending. It's essential to have an understanding of the basic loss calculation along with advanced Excel knowledge. Following the internal promotion of our Head of Credit Risk to Chief Risk Officer designate, this has created an exciting opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Manager who is looking for the next step in their career. Our successful Head of Credit Risk will form a key part of the Risk Management function and will need to influence and interact closely with our Executive and Non-Executive Directors, therefore exceptional communication and people skills are essential. Our Head of Credit will also attend and be a member of committees, therefore preparing and collating papers for monthly and quarterly meetings forms a critical part of this role. This is a permanent role; hours of work are 9am-5pm Monday - Friday, totalling 35 hours per week. However, we are keen to encourage applications from individuals looking for flexible working options. Here at Saffron Building Society progression and development is part of our culture along with ensuring all employees have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Within this role you're truly able to make a difference and add value to our Society. In return we can offer you a competitive salary along with our exceptional rewards and benefits package.
