My client is a market leading, consumer technology business based in the Wiltshire area. They are currently seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to join their Shared Service Centre Credit Control team on a Fixed Term Contract basis. Nine months initially. This is to cover an internal move on a project secondment. As such you must be available to start on 1 week's notice or less. You will oversee the Credit Control function for the UK and Europe, with responsibility for a team of Collections staff. The successful candidate will need to drive and monitor A/R processes in a fast paced KPI driven environment, ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting and timely collections across a diverse portfolio of debtors. You will also hold overall responsibility for monitoring, reconciling and collating Ledger data in order to produce accurate periodic reporting with detailed commentary.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the credit control processes for all sales related debtors Managing the timely collection of all debts in accordance with agreed Credit/Payment terms Examining A/R processes / implementing change and driving best practice Deal with escalated billing queries or disputes Credit Insurance strategy, compliance and development Ensure that cash management processes are completed in a timely manner Produce month-end reports on a timely basis with commentary Monitor and drive Key Performance Indicators Ensure robust credit risk analysis, limit setting and review for new and existing customers Staff development. Providing coaching, mentoring, direction and guidance The Candidate: Proven experience as a Credit Manager, managing a fast paced and Global credit control function Ideally CICM qualified or studying finalist Measurable and demonstrable track record of motivating, mentoring and coaching diverse teams of collections staff A track record of adding real business value at strategic or operational level A contagious enthusiasm for continuous improvement and consistently delivering the highest levels of performance Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with diverse business partners Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders SAP system experience at super-user level Knowledge of Credit insurance processes is desirable Advanced Excel skills for reporting This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Credit Manager to join a highly respected business in Wiltshire.
