Temporary Payroll Officer Pay : - £15.00 - £16.00 per hour / Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

- Dunstable Temporary - minimum of 3 months Immediate start The ideal candidate must be an experienced Payroll Officer, possess a positive working attitude and be confident in their ability. Key responsibilities Processing 2 monthly payrolls - total employees circa 500 Manage all payroll and benefit aspects across the Group - processing is outsourced Collating overtime, holiday pay and various other monthly changes including leaver and starter salary adjustments, updating tax code changes, student loans, attachments, backdated adjustments etc Run and check payroll reports and liaise with relevant internal and the payroll Bureau to resolve any queries and being the point of contact for all payroll related queries Submit pensions report to 2 pension funds Ensure compliance with HMRC, auto enrolment and other statutory requirements Posting payroll transactions into the general ledger Reconciliation of payroll nominal ledger codes - balance sheet codes Essentials Comprehensive knowledge of payroll including legislation Experience of working with a Payroll Bureau Experience of a payroll system Excellent communication and excel skills Experience of administering a benefits portfolio including salary sacrifice and pensions administration (including auto enrolment) Attention to detail and ability to streamline processes Desirable Experience in Cascade payroll Attention to detail Adaptable to changing business environment
