Competitive, DOE Contract: Full time, Permanent About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping how Abcam improves its Inventory Valuation, Gross Margin analysis and integrates its ERP Systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Audit, Product Margin Analysis, Project Management and New Systems Implementations. Major

Responsibilities:
Leading Projects across functions to improve data governance and internal controls. Building complex financial models for Margin Analysis of new and existing products. Planning, forecasting and reporting direct and indirect expenses for the Group. Enhancing and reviewing periodically internal policies. Partnering with Supply Chain across the Group and modelling inventory Initiatives. Involvement with system implementation relating to inventory valuations and cost of sales, to ensure continuity of reporting and drive efficiency. Partnering with Manufacturing and Logistics across entities and analyse cost of materials, labour and overheads. Ensure that relevant processes and controls are in place to maintain accurate inventory and cost of sales data, across multiple systems. Day to day interaction with senior leadership providing support. Requirements and Skills: Comfortable operating in the detail, but also with the ability to understand the big picture, you will analyse and report at a strategic and operational level in a concise agile manner to suit the audience as appropriate. Confident and organised to lead projects on a structured way. The work load is diverse and time pressured, so you will be a "right first time" type of person, comfortable keeping plates spinning whilst always delivering on time and to a high standard. Constantly striving for improvement, you will challenge the status quo and look for innovative and creative ways to solve problems and improve processes. Desired qualifications: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) ideally with experience in an accounting practice. Experience in SAP, Oracle or similar ERP System. Advanced MS Excel experience is required.
